A driver was airlifted to Baptist East after a single vehicle accident in a couple of miles from Howevalley.
Emergency crews were called the scene of the accident around 8 am Sunday morning along Kentucky 86 near the intersection of Yates Chapel Road. A burgundy suv lost control and overturned onto its side. The driver was removed from the vehicle and was airlifted from the scene to Baptist East Hospital in Louisville. The Hardin County Sheriff’s Department, Kentucky 86 Fire Department and Hardin County EMS all responded to the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
