
Two men and a juvenile from Elizabethtown were arrested Friday after a traffic stop in Hart County on Friday (2/26).
According to Kentucky State Police, around 1 pm Friday (2/26) trooper pulled over 38-year-old Billy Groves in Hart County for speeding and reckless driving.
When the officer ran his license, he discovered that Groves was driving on a suspended license with two passengers; 31 year-old James Groves and a female juvenile who both from Elizabethtown. During a search of the car, police found several different kinds of drugs and all three inside the car were arrested.
Billy Groves was charged with reckless driving, operating on a suspended operators license, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
James Groves and the juvenile were charged with Possession of controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Billy and James Groves were both taken to the Hart County Jail. The juvenile was released to the custody of her parents.
