An investigation following a February accident has resulted in warrants issued for a Brandenburg man.
According the Meade County Sheriff’s Department, a single vehicle accident happened on February 19 on Kentucky 144 about five miles east of Payneville, as the vehicle was traveling west. For unknown reasons the vehicle left the roadway and overturned multiple times before coming to rest on the shoulder of the roadway. As result of the accident, both occupants were ejected from the vehicle. The passenger of the car made statements to ems personnel the driver was attempting to kill her.
After follow up interviews after the accident and discussion with Meade County Attorney, the investigating officer sought warrants for the driver of the vehicle identified as Brandon Rhodes of Brandenburg.
