

A man that held up a Meade County business at knife point has been arrested.
According to Muldraugh Police Chief Charlie Ashbaugh, a joint investigation between the Meade County Sheriff’s Department and the Brandenburg Police Department that was aided by the suspect’s picture being posted on social media that led to the confirmation of the suspect’s identity. Within a few hours police were able to start their search for 31 year-old Stephen Clater, Jr. of Guston.
Around 3:30 pm Friday (3/22) afternoon, police went to 8300 block of Old State Road in Guston and conducted a search of a residence and found Clater. Clater was arrested on a charge of robbery first degree. Upon the search a second person, 39 year-old Liesha Clater was arrested on charges of hindering prosecution or apprehension and possession of synthetic drugs. Both Stephen Clater and Liesha Clater were both lodged in the Meade County Detention Center.
