A Irvington man was injured after a accident in Meade County Wednesday (8/17) morning.
According to the Meade County Sheriff’s Department, the single vehicle accident happened around 4 am at the intersection of Highway 376 and 477. A 2006 F150 driven by 49 year-old Larry Wood of Irvington was traveling east on Highway 376 when he attempted to make a right turn onto 477, but ran off the roadway and struck a ditch.
Wood was taken Hardin Memorial Hospital by Meade County EMS for his injuries. The Payneville Fire Department assisted at the scene.
