A Meade County motorcyclist was injured Thursday (10/6) night after a single vehicle accident in Meade County.
According to the Meade County Sheriff’s Department, the accident happened around 9:40 pm Thursday night in the 1500 block of Fackler Road, when a motorcycle went off of the roadway for an unknown reason and came to rest in a ditch. The operator was treated at the scene by Meade County EMS and was then airlifted to University of Louisville Hospital by Air methods Air Ambulance.
The Payneville Fire Department also assisted at the scene where responders worked about an hour to clean up the scene.
