
An investigation by the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit led to the arrest of a Hartford man for trafficking in large amounts of prescription pills.
According to the Ohio County Sheriff’s Department, detectives had been investigating 65 year-old Carl Miller of Hartford, since November 2016. Acting upon gathered information, police executed a search warrant at Miller’s home around 7 pm Monday (1/23) night. Officers seized cash, 78 Lortab pills, several weapons and an extensive coin collection.
Miller was charged with four counts of first degree trafficking in a controlled substance, one count of possession of marijuana and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Miller was lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center.
