
A man who fled a traffic stop on foot and with a firearm has been indicted by the Grayson County Grand Jury on eight separate counts.
William Agrinsoni-Gonzalez, 30, of Leitchfield, was arrested on January 2 after Leitchfield Police Department Sgt. Brandon Cook executed a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 700 block of Main Street. Agrinsoni-Gonzalez, who was a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, fled the scene on foot with a 9mm semi-automatic handgun on his person. He was also in possession of methamphetamine.
The Grand Jury indicted Agrinsoni-Gonzalez for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a controlled substance (meth), fleeing or evading police (on foot), resisting arrest, tampering with physical evidence, being a persistent felony offender, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Agrinsoni-Gonzalez is out of jail on a $25,000 cash bond.
