Ohio County Sheriff deputies are investigating a crash involving an ATV and another vehicle.
The accident happened near the 1400 block of Pleasant Ridge Road after 4 pm CST. Officials say Cole Simpson, of Utica, was driving an ATV north on Pleasant Ridge Road behind a school bus. Simpson tried to pass the bus but was hit head-on by a Jeep heading south. The passengers of the Jeep were not injured.
Simpson was airlifted to St. Mary’s in Evansville for multiple injuries. Charges may be filed against Simpson according to police as the investigation continues.
