The Kentucky Department of Veterans Affairs personnel raised the U.S flag and admitted two residents to the Radcliff Veterans Center here on Tuesday (5/9).
Kentucky’s newest 120-bed state veteran home incorporates the Community Living Centers Model that offers all private rooms with private baths allowing only 10 veterans in one household, 3 households to a neighborhood. Each household has an enclosed courtyard and covered porch with a country kitchen dining service and spacious activity or lounge areas.
The facility is currently accepting applications. Governor Matt Bevin and KDVA Commissioner Norman Arflack will schedule a celebration and ribbon cutting ceremony for the facility’s grand opening at a future date.
