Several ceremonies are scheduled to mark the 16th anniversary of the terror attacks during the day on Monday (9/11).
Locally the 2017, 9-1-1 commemoration will take place this year at the Payneville Fire Department. The parade line- up will be at the courthouse at 5:30 pm Monday (9/11) evening and will travel to the Payneville Fire Department located at 5310 Payneville Road at 6:30 pm. The ceremony will begin upon arrival. This will be the second year that the ceremony has been held at a different county fire department. Everyone is invited to attend and participate.
