Kentucky State Police and the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office conducted traffic safety checkpoint near Beaver Dam, early Saturday (10/15) morning.
During the roadblock, police came into contact with 37 year-old Ryan M. Simpson, of Beaver Dam. Through an investigation, authorities discovered Simpson was intoxicated and in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Simpson was arrested and charged with DUI, possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia and was lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center on a $5,000 bond.
