The Grayson County Sheriff’s Department is conducting a death investigation after a body was found near an apparent car accident in the 300 block of West Maple Street in Caneyville.
According to Grayson County Deputy Coroner Larry Holeman, the body of 45 year-old Clinton Brown, of Caneyville, was found between 5:30 and 6 am Sunday (4/1) morning on the roadway after being ejected from his vehicle near what appeared to be a slide-off accident. The vehicle was off the roadway and down a seven to eight foot embankment. A firearm was found near Brown’s body.
The body has been taken to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Louisville for autopsy.
