A Caneyville man arrested on January 9 on multiple child sex charges has been indicted by the Grayson County Grand Jury.
Jeffrey D. Elmore, 49, was indicted on a total of 14 counts, including eight counts of promoting a minor under the age of 16 in sex performance, and six counts of possessing/viewing matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.
The indictment says in between December 1, 2017 and January 9, 2018, Elmore committed the offense of promoting a minor under sixteen in a sex performance. Elmore is currently free on a $25,000 cash bond, with him being a “threat to the community” a reason for his bond amount, according to the indictment.
