A 2 year-old child died Wednesday (4/25) night at Hardin Memorial Hospital after being found unconscious earlier in the day in a Cecilia swimming pool, according to Hardin County Sheriff John Ward.
Hardin County EMS responded to the location near Casablanca Court and Rodeo Drive in Cecilia. The child was taken to Hardin Memorial Hospital by EMS where the child died from it’s injuries.
Officials are unsure how the child ended up in the swimming pool or how long the child had been in the water when found.
