
An early morning shooting sent a Hardinsburg woman to the hospital.
According to Hardinsburg Police were called to a report of an accidental shooting at 6:30 am CDT Wednesday (5/2) morning. Police found 40 year-old Tammy Sosh with gunshot wounds to both legs. She was treated at the scene by Breck Central EMS, then airlifted to University of Louisville Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
During the investigation, it was determined that the victim’s husband, 64 year-old Terry Sosh had fired the shot that struck Tammy Sosh in both legs, during a domestic argument. Officers sought a warrant locally and Terry Sosh was taken into custody, at the hospital, by Louisville Metro Police. Sosh was lodged in Louisville Metro Department of Corrections on a charge of Assault 1st Degree. The investigation remains on-going.
