Kentucky State Police Post 4 troopers conducted a traffic stop Sunday (5/6) resulting in drug trafficking charges.
A trooper observed a vehicle speeding westbound at the 132 mile marker on the Western Kentucky Parkway operated by Logan C. McKinney 20 year-old of Paducah. Upon a search of the vehicle found numerous types of illegal drugs including LSD and marijuana. Logan C. McKinney 20 of Paducah was arrested and charged with trafficking in controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense, LSD; trafficking in controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense—drug unspecified; trafficking in marijuana 1st degree, (less than 8 ounces); possession of drug paraphernalia; failure to notify address change to department of transportation; speeding 26 over limited access. Troopers also arrested the passenger, identified as Katherine Jo Adkins 19 of Georgetown and charged her with trafficking in controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense, LSD; trafficking in controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense drug unspecified;
trafficking in marijuana 1st degree, less than 8 ounces; possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both were transported and lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center.
