A man was arrested after he was found to be under the influence and was struck by his mother in the driveway of a residence in Grayson County Saturday (5/21) night.
Police responded to a report of a child struck in the 1500 block of Sunbeam Road. They found 25 year-old Thomas Paul had stepped in front of a vehicle driven by his mother, Hope Paul, causing her to strike him with her car. Hope Paul had come to the residence to check on her son and the property.
Thomas Paul was not injured and appeared to be under the influence, causing him to be a danger to himself and others. Paul was taken to Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center to be checked and and was charged with public intoxication.
