The suspect wanted in an armed robbery in Owensboro has been caught.
Shortly after 11 am on July 16, the Cash Express on 4th Street was robbed by a man. Police said the suspect ran from the business with an unknown amount of money. Owensboro Police said one customer and one employee in the business when the suspect attempted to tie them both up. One person was able to free themselves and call 911.
Police issued a warrant for the believed suspect Archie “Apache” Williams who was arrested Monday (7/23) in Marion County, Tennessee on unrelated charges. Police say he’ll be extradited back to Kentucky for the armed robbery warrant.
