Lieutenant Governor Jacqueline Coleman stopped in Meade County on Wednesday (4/5) to present $1.9 million in funds to area efforts.
The Cleaner Water Grant Program provided the City of Brandenburg $607,811. The City of Muldraugh received $206,439 for deteriorating water lines. The Meade County Water District received $954,273 in funding for construction on a new water main for 30 homes. The Meade County Area Chamber of Commerce was awarded $64,370 for tourism marketing.
The Non- Profit Assistance Fund awarded $8,517 to Mociso Farms Livestock Sanctuary & Rescue Ltd. and $5,055.04 was awarded to The Salvation Army of Meade County.
