A 43-year-old Louisville man was arrested and charged with murder after a man was found dead in Henry County, according to Kentucky State Police.
Police were called Cardinal Drive in Campbellsburg around 6 a.m. Tuesday where 53 year-old Lorenzo Hicks was found dead inside a home. That is just off Highway 55 not far from Campbellsburg Elementary School.
Investigators initially didn’t release how Hicks died or the circumstances surrounding his death. But police later determined there had been foul play at the home, according to the Kentucky State Police.
Cleveland Riley was arrested and charged with murder and tampering with physical evidence. He was lodged at Oldham County Detention Center. He is scheduled to appear in court on March 11.
The incident remains under investigation by the Kentucky State Police.
