
During the April regular meeting of Meade County Fiscal Court, two employees were recognized for their efforts for going beyond the call of duty.
Bridge was recognized for his passion and work as GPS/GIS Technician for Meade County Addressing in the county’s E911 Center. He works on mapping every location within Meade County allows dispatchers to get help to citizens quickly sending to police, fire or ems to their location within feet of their location. The digital map populates information for emergency services plus other departments in county government. He assists Planning and Zoning, PVA, and the county road department with many skills that are invaluable to county operations.
E911 Director Jeremy Miller along with Vickie Greer and Laura Dutschke commented not only on the Bridge’s job performance, but his friendship and personality which brings comfort during times of difficult circumstances that dispatchers have to handle day to day. All pointed out his wit and humor by providing stories or a dad joke during the day.

Judge Executive Troy Kok recognized Administrative Assistant Jessica McKinney for her work of coordinating the recent memorial service of the April 3, 1974 Brandenburg Tornado. Judge Kok said she had overseen the details to organize the service for the victims who died with dignity honor and respect.
Judge Executive Kok presented both Tom Bridge and Jessica McKinney a coin of excellence on behalf of Fiscal Court.
