Members of Meade County Fiscal Court met during a special called meeting Tuesday evening.
Magistrates opened bids on the financing $440,590 for 2Â new Volvo Roll off trucks for the county’s solid waste and recycling center. The court approved the lowest submitted bid from Meade County Bank with a interest rate of 5.2 percent.
Other the bids were received included Kentucky Association of Counties at interest rate of 6.42 percent and the Cecilian Bank with a interest rate of 6.38 percent. The court also approved claims and transfers.
The next regular meeting of Meade County Fiscal Court will be held on Tuesday, June 11 at 7 PM.
