A teenager is dead after a shooting in the Newburg neighborhood Monday, June 23.
Louisville police said around 7:30 p.m., officers were called to the 5300 block of Ridgecrest Road. There, they found a teenage boy who had been shot. He died before he could be taken to the hospital.
LMPD’s Homicide Unit is investigating. There are currently no suspects. Police are asking that anyone with information, no matter how small, to call the anonymous tip line at 502-574-LMPD or use the LMPD’s online tip portal.
