Kentucky State Police Post 03 responded to a call of a pedestrian struck on Burkesville Road (KY 90) near Green Valley Road just before 11 p.m. Saturday (06/28).
A preliminary investigation indicates that a 2017 Dodge was traveling eastbound on KY 90 in the left lane when it collided with 59 year-old Ricky Parsons of Glasgow, who was standing in the middle of the roadway. Parsons was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Barren County Coroner.
Kentucky State Police was assisted at the scene by the Barren County Sheriff’s Office, Barren County EMS and the Barren County Coroner’s Office. The investigation is ongoing by the Kentucky State Police.
