
A second arrest has been made in connection to a double shooting near the University of Louisville.
The shooting happened on May 4 in the 400 block of University Boulevard. Police said two people were shot, a man and a woman. The man died in the hosptial, but the woman survived her injuries.
On June 27, police arrested Brendan Spencer in connection to the shooting.
On June 30, Louisville police announced the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office had arrested 26-year-old Dakota Compton on an indictment warrant as he appeared in court. Compton is charged with and has already been indicted for complicity to murder, complicity to assault, and complicity to wanton endangerment.
His bond was set at $100,000. He posted bond and is on home incarceration.
