A Kentucky woman is dead after police say she was hit by a car while crossing a highway Saturday night on Highway 27 in Somerset.
According to the Somerset Deputy Coroner, 39-year-old Linda Green of Monticello was crossing the roadway when she was struck by a car and killed.
Green’s body has been sent to the Kentucky State Medical Examiner.
No criminal charges have been filed.
