A man in Daviess County was arrested Monday after police say he was caught squatting on someone else’s property.
The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office said they received a complaint about the man, who was living in a camper on the backside of a property in the 9100 block of Highway 144 in Knottsville.
Deputies say while speaking to man, later identified as 68 year-old Kenneth Johnson of Philpot, they noticed drug paraphernalia inside the camper.
Authorities say they found several baggies of meth, digital scales, several jars of marijuana, plates and pipes with drug residue, three handguns, and several long-guns during a search.
After Johnson was arrested, deputies say they found an additional baggie of meth in his pocket.
Johnson was arrested and booked into the jail on charges of:

Buy/Possess Drug Paraphernalia (Firearm Enhanced)
Trafficking in Marijuana 1st Offense (Firearm Enhanced)

He was lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center under a $10,000 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in court on July 2.
