
Glasgow Police have arrested 28-year-old Derek Shaffer on burglary charges.
On Thursday, July 3, police responded to the Daily Stop store on Columbia Avenue, where they discovered the front door had been broken out and items strewn throughout the store.
Officers say the suspect also caused significant damage to the ATM Machine when he tried to remove it, but failed.
Using surveillance and FLOCK Cameras, officers found the suspect and his vehicle at a residence on Jefferson Street, and arrested 28-year-old Derek Shaffer, charging him with Burglary 3rd Degree, Criminal Mischief 1st Degree, and possession of Burglary Tools.
He was booked into the Barren County Detention Center under a $5,000 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in court on July 7.
