
The Bowling Green–Warren County Drug Task Force (DTF) have arrested 36 year-old Taza D. Hays, who is accused of drug trafficking.
During surveillance of the suspect, agents made three separate covert deals where the accused sold cocaine. That evidence was presented to the Warren County Grand Jury, which returned an indictment.
Drug Task Force detectives along with Kentucky State Police troopers carried out the indictment on July 3 at Hays home on Nutwood Street in Bowling Green.
He was taken into custody without incident. However, investigators executed a warrant to search the house finding more drugs. Investigators said they found cocaine that he allegedly tried to flush down the toilet as well as marijuana, LSD and pills.
He was booked in the Warren County Jail on a charges of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree (Cocaine).
He is currently out on bond waiting arraignment in court.
Investigators believe more charges will be filed as the investigation continues.
