A motorcycle accident leads to an interstate shutdown on I-64 West Saturday afternoon.
The crash occurred around 2:30 p.m. according to Louisville Metro Police. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, despite life saving efforts from EMS.
Traffic on I-64 West was suspended while officers continued their investigation. Westbound traffic was be diverted to Grinstead Drive.
As of 4:30 p.m Metro EMS confirmed all lanes were reopened.
