A woman was shot in the head in Shively Friday night, according to police.
At around 10:30 p.m., Shively Police reported to a call of a shooting on Rockford Lane on July 4.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers found a woman with a gunshot wound to the head; however, her injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
Shively Police said in a statement that the shooting does not appear to be a targeted incident.
