
Shively Police have identified the man wanted in connection with a double homicide that happened early Monday morning.
Officers arrived at the scene, in the 3200 block of Kingswood Way, to find two women, both in their 20s, who had been shot. They were declared dead at the scene.
Those women have been identified by the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office as 22-year-old Amia Cox and 26-year-old Sontia Simmons. A spokesperson with the department said the two women were friends and Sontia Simmons was in a relationship with the suspect.
Police say 35-year-old Labradford Jamarr Ward is wanted for murder-domestic violence, murder and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

Shively Police say Ward should be considered armed and dangerous. If you see him, do not approach him. Call law enforcement.
