Elizabethtown Police Officers responded to a two vehicle collision at the intersection of Patriot Parkway and Timber Lane on just after noon on Friday (07/11).
A preliminary investigation indicates that a white Nissan Rogue, driven by an adult female, was attempting to make a left turn from Timber Lane onto northbound Patriot Parkway when it crossed into the path of a southbound white Nissan Sentra, also operated by an adult female. Despite the Sentra braking, its front collided with the driver’s side of the SUV.
A male passenger in the Nissan Rogue was pronounced deceased at Baptist Health Hardin. The drivers of both vehicles were transported to Baptist Health Hardin with minor injuries.
The Elizabethtown Police Accident Reconstruction Team continue to investigate the incident.
