A man is in the hospital after a shooting in the Chickasaw neighborhood Friday night.
Louisville police said around 11 p.m. on July 11, officers were called to the 800 block of 42nd Street. There, they found a man who had been shot in the arm. He was taken to UofL Hospital, where he is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said the actual shooting happened at 42nd and Broadway, a few blocks away from where they ended up finding him.
LMPD’s Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating. There are currently no suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call the anonymous tip line at 502-574-LMPD or use the online crime tip portal.
