
A Glasgow man is facing several drug-related charges after law enforcement agencies were serving a warrant.
On July 13, the Barren River Drug Task Force and the Glasgow Police Department stopped 45 year-old David Franklin at a store on Lexington Drive to serve a federal arrest warrant.
After detectives noticed a marijuana odor coming from the vehicle, a search was conducted, and it revealed two bags of marijuana and cash.
The Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at Franklin’s residence on Lexington Drive, where agents found a large quantity of cocaine and methamphetamine along with a large amount of marijuana, pills, and more money.
He was transported to the Warren County Region Jail and lodged for the Federal Warrant for drug trafficking offences. He was additionally charged by the Drug Task Force for the following:
Trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree
2nd offence greater or equal 4 grams of cocaine
Trafficking in marijuana 8 oz to <5 lbs (2nd offense)
Possession of a controlled substance, 3rd degree
Possession of drug paraphernalia – buy/possess
Additional charges are expected.
