An escaped inmate was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals in Lexington on Tuesday.
Kentucky State Police say Jeffrey Harrison was apprehended just before 3 p.m.
Kentucky State Police says 43-year-old Jeffrey Harrison, of Lexington, escaped custody during transport from the Estill County Courthouse on July 8.
This is not the first time Harrison has escaped from custody. Harrison was caught in Lexington on June 11 after escaping from the Three Forks Regional Jail in Beattyville on May 30. Officials say Harrison escaped in that instance by impersonating his brother, who was scheduled for release.
Harrison was charged with second-degree escape and has been lodged in the Fayette County Detention Center.
