
Louisville Metro Police arrested four suspects in connection with Thursday’s shooting at the intersection of South 32nd Street and West Market.
According to citations, Louisville Metro Police officers located a stolen vehicle on Friday, July 25, that was noted to be connected with Thursday’s shooting.
Officers initiated a vehicle takedown at the intersection of Bolling Avenue and 15th Street to prevent a potential pursuit. Police blocked the stolen car at the intersection with their own vehicles.
The driver of the stolen car proceeded to drive the stolen car into the police vehicles. All four suspects then exited the car and attempted to flee the scene on foot.
Louisville Metro Police officers pursued and detained all four suspects.
The first suspect, a 17-year-old male, is being charged with assault and possession of a handgun by a minor.
The second suspect is also a minor, age 16, and is being charged with complicity to assault.
The other two suspects, 20-year-old Delquan Glass and 18-year-old Amya Thomas, have been charged with: receiving stolen property worth $10,000 or more, fleeing police, criminal mischief, failure to wear seat belts and assault.
