Major economic developments are taking place in Hopkins County after local and state leaders helped break ground on a brand new, 100,000 square-foot packaging facility.
E. Hofmann Packaging is a Canadian-based company with four manufacturing facilities across the globe.
Two in Europe, one in Canada, and one that is being constructed on the west side of Madisonville.
This $43 million investment is expected to create 164 jobs and construction on the new manufacturing facility is set to be complete by the end of 2026.
