A boat on the Ohio River went up in flames Saturday afternoon.
It happened just before 2 p.m. in Prospect off Victory Lane near the Drift Bar. Several fire departments were called to pull the people out of the water.
Kevin McGrath, who witnessed what happened, said it looked like the engine backfired causing the back seat to fly off the boat and a small flame could be seen coming out of the engine.
No official word on the cause, but luckily, no one was injured.
