An Adairville man was arrested and charged with child sexual exploitation Friday following an Internet Crimes Against Children investigation.
Kentucky State Police reports that 33-year-old Anthony Kirkpatrick shared images of child sexual exposure online. In their investigation, they interviewed Kirkpatrick and seized equipment he used to share the images on August 15.
Kirkpatrick is currently in the Logan County Detention Center facing 10 counts of distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor under the age of 12 years.
Police say these charges are a Class C felony punishable by five to 10 years in prison.
Adairville Police and Kentucky State Police were assisted by the Logan County Sheriff’s Department and the local Department of Community Based Services office.
The investigation is ongoing by Kentucky State Police’s E-Crimes Division.
