
A former Kentucky police officer was indicted on 11 felony and misdemeanor charges.
A Johnson County Grand Jury indicted 37-year-old James Bradley, of Paintsville, on two counts of Assault Third Degree (Class D Felony), five counts of Wanton Endangerment (Class D Felony), and misdemeanor charges involving driving under the influence and reckless behavior.
According to court documents, Bradley was operating an ATV under the influence when he assaulted two police officers and several others in May 2025.
At the time, he was an officer with the Paintsville Police Department.
The Paintsville Police Department investigated the case, which was presented to the Grand Jury by the Office of the Attorney General.
