Multiple law enforcement agencies are investigating a dispute at Treasure Trove Park Saturday afternoon.
Cave City Police Chief Paul Reynolds said a civil dispute “got out of hand.” He said co-owner Roy Spiker flipped over at least three vehicles with a skid steer then drove it towards another man’s house on the property, according to witnesses.
Reynolds said the homeowner, who knew Spiker, fired shots at him but that no one was injured.
Spiker was ledged in the Barren County Detention Center. Reynolds said he will be charged with eight counts of wanton endangerment and three counts of criminal mischief.
Cave City Police were assisted on scene by Kentucky State Police Post 3 and the Barren County Sheriff’s Office.
The investigation is ongoing.
