A 38-year-old Owensboro felon is spending more time in jail after police say she trafficked various drugs from a home near a school.
Kentucky State Police troopers say Thursday morning, several agencies searched a residence in the 1400 block of Woodbridge Trail, which is less than a 1,000 feet away from Daviess County High School.
During the search, investigators say they found meth, fentanyl and a handgun.
One suspect, identified as Jennifer Curtis, was arrested and charged during the investigation.
She is facing charges of Trafficking in Meth, Trafficking in Fentanyl, Trafficking within 1,000 Feet of a School, and Possession of Handgun by Convicted Felon.
Police say Curtis is currently on supervised probation for previous drug charges.
She is being held in the Daviess County Jail on $25,000 cash bond.
