
Investigators say they suspect foul play after finding a Louisville man dead in his eastern Kentucky prison cell.
The Kentucky State Police responded to a call for a death investigation at the Eastern Kentucky Correctional Complex at around 8:50 a.m. on Sunday, August 31.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers learned that inmate 34 year-old Robert Broyles, from Louisville, was unresponsive in his cell during morning count.
Broyles was taken to ARH Hospital in Morgan County, where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators say foul play is suspected, but the investigation is still ongoing.
