A woman is dead after being found shot multiple times near the Shawnee Park boat ramp in Louisville.
Louisville Police were called around 3:24 p.m. Sunday to a “person down” at the Shawnee Park boat ramp in the 4600 block of Shawnee Park Drive, according to department Spokesperson Matt Sanders.
Sanders said when officers arrived on scene, they found a woman in her 30s that had been shot multiple times in a wooded area near the boat ramp. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
LMPD’s Homicide Unit is investigating. Anyone with information in this or any other case is asked to call LMPD’s anonymous Crime Tip Line at 502-574-LMPD (5673). Tips can also be submitted anonymously through the department’s Crime Tip Portal.
