Two men have been arrested after police say they used credit cards stolen from elderly victims for a shopping spree across Louisville.
Louisville Metro Police said 64 year-old Virgil Mozee and 52 year-old Nathanial Porter III have been charged with theft by unlawful taking, fraudulent use of credit cards, trafficking in financial information, and engaging in organized crime.
According to Louisville Metro Police Department, between September 12 and September 25, both men were caught on camera shopping at Walgreens, Meijer and Kroger using the stolen credit cards.
The two men racked up more than $5,000 in fraudulent transactions, police said, adding that they targeted women in their 70s and 80s.
Police said they primarily hit Cane Run Road, Dixie Highway, Terry Road and around the Fegenbush Lane area.
LMPD said it’s possible there may be more victims out there.
