Kentucky State Police say a man wanted in connection to the murder of a Meade County woman on Monday has been found dead.
Authorities had been searching for 45-year-old Scott Hornback of Irvington after 55-year-old Mary Crase was found shot to death in a residence on Simpson Lane in the Ekron community Monday afternoon.
Just before 9:30 p.m. Monday, Kentucky State Police Post 4 troopers and detectives located Scott Hornback deceased due to a self inflicted gun shot wound. He was located in a vehicle at a family member’s residence on Burgundy Lane. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Meade County Coroner.
