Two people are behind bars after a traffic stop in Scottsville on Monday (11/03).
the Scottsville Police collaborated with the South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force and the Allen County Sheriff’s Office for an investigation.
According to Scottsville Police, a traffic stop was conducted on North 3rd St. As a result of the traffic stop, Taylor Shelton and Shawn Barton were taken into custody and lodged in the Allen County Detention Center.
Taylor Shelton is charged with Careless Driving and Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree – 1st offense(drug unspecified).
Shawn Barton is charged with Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree – 1st offense (methamphetamine); Tampering with Physical Evidence and Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree – 1st offense (drug unspecified).
