Louisville Metro Police said a suspect has been arrested in connection with a south Louisville homicide that left a 76-year-old man dead.
Richard Jenkins was found shot to death in the 7800 block of Manslick Road on Wednesday, November 5.
According to Louisville Metro Police Department, 50-year-old Justin Hayes was arrested on Thursday, November 6, in connection with the shooting.
Hayes’ arrest citation says that he shot Jenkins multiple times during a domestic altercation with Jenkins. The suspect is also said to have contacted family members and “alluded to shooting” Jenkins.
The suspect is currently being held at Louisville Metro Department of Corrections.
